APS V002- KENYA VICTORIA FALLS SAFARI, ZAMBEZI WHITE WATER RAFTING
Day 1:
Arrival, are picked up from the airport and transferred by a African Peripate safaris team to Panafric Hotel or Boulevard for overnight and dinner.
Day 2:
Early breakfast and leave for Masai Mara driving south along the Great Rift Valley in time for lunch at Narok Transit hotel. Maasai Mara -Afternoon game viewing drives in this finest game reserve. Masai Mara the vast, open grasslands of the Serengeti-Mara are home to over 3 million large mammals. These include over 1.4 million wildebeest, which migrate in an enormous, straggling herd each year between the southern parts of the Serengeti to the northern part and back again. On our morning and afternoon game drives in the Masai Mara we have a very good chance of seeing the entire major plains animals including lion, leopard, buffalo, elephant, rhino, hyena, cheetah, jackal, warthog and many species of antelope. In this area we also encounter and learn about the Masai, a proud tribal people struggling to preserve their traditions in the face of modernization. Dinner and overnight at Mara Sarova or Mara Sopa lodge. (Optional balloon safari for US$ 395)
Day 3:
Early morning game drives before breakfast and after breakfast spend the day on game viewing. Dinner and overnight at Mara Sopa lodge or Mara Sarova on all meals.
Day 4:
Early morning game drives before breakfast and after breakfast spend the day on game viewing. Dinner and overnight at Mara Sopa lodge or Mara Sarova on all meals.
Day 5:
An early morning game drives breakfast and after, leaves for Nairobi with lunch stopover at Narok Transit Hotel. Continue to Amboseli National Park via Nairobi. Drive through the scenic route to Amboseli National Park. The park which is situated on the boarder of neighboring country Tanzania and on the slope of Mt Kilimanjaro, famous for its big game and Large herds of Elephants. Dinner and overnight at Amboseli lodge.
Day 6
Today after breakfast we spend the morning and afternoon game viewing exploring Amboseli with the chance to photograph Wildebeest, Zebra, Giraffe, Lion, Rhino, and a large Elephant herds. Dinner and overnight at Amboseli lodge.
Day 7:
Early morning game drive, breakfast and after, head to Arusha via Namanga border to arrive in time for lunch at a restaurant. After lunch, proceed to Ngorongoro conservation area. Ngorongoro Conservation Area's central feature is the Ngorongoro Crater, one of the largest intact caldera in the world and one of the most spectacular sights in Africa. Elephant, lion, zebra, wildebeest and a host of other resident animals are to be found here. Dinner and overnight at the Ngorongoro Wildlife Lodge or Sopa.
Day 8:
Morning and afternoon game drives at the Crater floor. This crater is the largest undamaged Caldera in the world spanning 12 miles across. Meals and overnight at Ngorongoro Wildlife Lodge.
Day 9:
After breakfast proceed to Arusha town in time for lunch. Later leave by public shuttle bus to Nairobi (or by flight at an extra to Wilson airport to arrive at 4.00pm). On arrival, transfer to Panafric or Boulevard hotel for overnight with dinner and breakfast included.
Day 10: Victoria Falls waters
Depart for Nairobi airport after breakfast in time for an early morning flight to Johannesburg city. Transfer to Senator Caesar or similar on bed breakfast basis.
Day 11: Johannesburg-Victoria Falls
Breakfast and transfer to the airport for Victoria Falls. Arrival at the Victoria Falls Airport, and pick up. On arrival, check in and settle into hotel rooms at Illara. Lunch at leisure followed by an afternoon sunset cruise, time allowing. Transfer back to the hotel after the cruise. Dinner and overnight at the hotel Illara or similar.
Day 12: Zambezi white water rafting
Breakfast, after, spend the rest of the day rafting on River Zambezi. (Includes park fees, guide, river rafting,). Overnight and dinner at Illara hotel.
Day 13: Victoria Falls - Johannesburg
Breakfast and transfer back to Johannesburgh by flight. Arrival and are checked in at Senator Caesar's on bed and breakfast basis.
Day 14: Johannesburg- Nairobi
Breakfast at leisure and the option of Elephant Back safari (breakfast trip) at an extra. Early morning check out of the hotel and drive to the Victoria Falls Airport in time to catch your flight at around 11.00 O’clock to Nairobi arriving by 4.00 o'clock in the afternoon. Relax or go shopping for a souvenir before catching your flight back home or spend the night at Panafric hotel Nairobi.
Price for this safari will be US$4255 per person sharing. Minimum two people sharing.
Holiday supplements apply at US$195 per person if travel is during Easter, christmas and new year.
