DAY 1: Board shuttle bus at 0800 hrs to the border town of Namanga where you will clear customs and immigration formalities. Proceed in Tanzania to Arusha. On arrival you will be dropped at your hotel for overnight.
DAY 2: LAKE MANYARA
After breakfast depart for Lake Manyara National Park for a full day game drive with picnic lunch. Manyara is a birding paradise (more than 380 species), especially for waterfowl and migrants, and the forests are one of the best places around to see leopards. Lions hunt on the grassy shores of the lake, and were once known for their habit of climbing trees. Overnight at the Camp site or Lodge
DAY 3: MANYARA/ SERENGETI
After breakfast, leave Lake Manyara National Park and proceed to Serengeti National Park via Olduvai Gorge. Olduvai Gorge, revered by anthropologists worldwide since 1959, when Mary Leakey discovered an early human skull reputed to be 1.7 million years old. Continue to Tanzania’s most famous game park, Serengeti National Park. On the seemingly endless and almost treeless plains are literally millions of hoofed animals, constantly on the move in search of grassland. Picnic lunch is served. Take a game drive in the evening towards the Camp site or Lodge for dinner and overnight.
DAY 4:SERENGETI
After breakfast, Morning games drive. Enjoy the endless plains of Serengeti with game viewing, encountering one of the most incredible sights you will ever see. An unending stream of wildebeest pour across the plains, while a parade of hungry Predators lion, leopard and cheetah anxiously try to prey upon the youngest or weakest members of the herd. Picnic Lunch is served, afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at the Campsite / Lodge.
DAY 5: SERENGETI / NGORONGORO
After breakfast, game drive enroute towards Ngorongoro Crater with parked lunch. Continue on to Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa’s best-known wildlife-viewing areas, and one of the largest crater basins in the world. Descend by to the crater’s grassland floor, 2,000 feet below the forested rim. Here, experience spectacular game runs aand view animals such as lion, elephant, wildebeest, Thomson’s gazelle, rhino and thousands of flamingoes wading in Lake Magadi. the soda lake at the crater’s base. Game viewing until late in the afternoon when you ascend back to the camp/lodge at the Crater Rim for dinner and overnight.
DAY 6: NGORONGORO
After breakfast, descend once again to the Crater floor for morning game drive to the crater floor with picnic lunches. This most spectacular of the African game reserve contains one of the largest concentrations of wildlife in Tanzania with over 35,000 animals living within the crater, including wildebeest, elephants, lion, dik dik and war-hog; whilst on the lake side there are pelicans, ibis and flamingoes. Spend the afternoon at the Crater, in the evening drive back to Arusha.
